2015 Tri-District Choral Festival

Students in grades 4 through 8 came together in song at the Tri-District Choral Festival on Sunday, February 1st at the Mount Greylock Regional School Auditorium. “The mission of the Tri District Choral Festival is to unite children in song, and to create musical artistry by providing opportunities for children to engage in all components of choral music,” said Mount Greylock’s choral and performing arts teacher Kate Caton. Caton helped to organize the festival with Lanseborough Elementary School music teacher Jackie Widun and local composer and music teacher James Bergin. “We hope this experience will instill confidence, creativity, cooperation, and a feeling of community in our children.”
