BREAKFAST:
May 2016 the cafeteria will be trialing a breakfast meal. The requirements are at least 4 items to be offered in the categories of dairy, whole grain and fruit. The student must take a fruit and 2 other items for the meal to be reimbursable. For regular paying students the cost is $1.25 and for those qualified $0.30 for reduced or free. Milk is $.50 for all students when purchased separately.
LUNCH:
Lunch prices are $2.50 for regular paying students and for those qualified $0.40 for reduced and free. Milk is $0.50 for all students if purchased separately.
There are 3 lunch types of lunches: hot or main meal, salad bar or peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Categories are (5) dairy, whole grain product, protein, vegetable and fruit.
All students are offered the milk, vegetable and fruits of the day. There are at least 5 items offered. The student must take a fruit or vegetable and at least 2 other items in different categories.
PAYMENTS:
Payments may be made daily or in any amount parents want to. Payments may be made by cash, check or as of May 1, 2016 by online credit card or check. Click HERE to register for online accounts. You will need the child’s last name AND lunch ID #. More than 1 parent/guardian may register for the same child.
The cost to use online is $1.00 per check per transaction (which all your children may be included in 1 transaction) and for credit card $1.00 plus 2.3% of the amount of the payment for each transaction.)
You may also designate if you want to be notified when the account reaches a certain point, i.e., when the account reaches a $10.00 balance, an email will be automatically generated to you.
You can use the online account if you just want to look at the child’s account at not charge.
FOR FREE/REDUCED ELIGIBILITY:
You may apply for a free or reduced status at any time during the school year.
Free /reduced status will remain in affect into the beginning of the next school year- only until the beginning of October- until the verification is process is redone. Many of our meals are “homemade”: spaghetti sauce, meatballs, pizza, sunshine, apple, blueberry muffins, applesauce
