Congratulations to Dr. Jason McCandless who, at the July 31, 2020 Special Session of the MGRSD School Committee, was offered the position of Superintendent of Mount Greylock Regional School District. Welcome Dr. McCandless!

MASC announced on July 29,2020 the three finalists being brought forward for Superintendent interviews to take place on July 30 and 31. (Please see District Meeting Calendar for details.)
Dr. Portia Bonner has over 26 years of experience in the field of public education, including time spent as a teacher, department chair, assistant superintendent and as a superintendent both in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Dr. Jason McCandless is a resident of Berkshire County who has worked in public education for over 27 years, having served as a teacher, department chair, assistant principal, principal and as a superintendent for the last 15 years.
Mary Jane Rickson has 30 years of public education experience, with 7 of those years spent in a regional vocational school district, and experience as a school committee member, teacher, dean of students, assistant principal, special education administrator and superintendent.
