Parents of all students

We are traveling to the Canadian Rockies

June 2019

Our Wellness Department works daily attempting to instill a love for lifetime activities and fitness in our students, to give them the tools to make healthy choices in their lives, all while trying to make it as fun as possible. To that end, we put together our second school trip for students to explore their love for fitness (the last one was to the National Parks). This trip will be extra special, as we have invited our colleague Mike Powers and his photography students to join us to capture all the beauty the Canadian Rockies have to offer, along with receiving personal instruction for their photography skills.  For those who have signed up already, thank you.

We are getting this information to you early so students are able work and raise money for their trip. We will be holding 3-4 fund raisers in the next 14 months to help defray some of the cost. Once you have signed up your student, there is a “help fund me” page that your child can complete and post on their Facebook page or send to relatives.

We will be holding an informational meeting after April vacation, but in the meantime, please feel free to go to the website and check out our itinerary, the cost, and how easy it is to sign up. There is a promotion going on now till 3/29.  See how you can save $75!

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Lynn Jordan at, or call Explorica (number on the website) and either would be happy to help.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to explore the Rockies -- Edmonton, Calgary, Jasper and Banff. Help give your child and our students a whole new appreciation for lifelong fitness, lifelong health and an appreciation of the beauty that surrounds us.  Thank you for helping to create wonderful memories that could change your child forever.
