Fall Season Update/Review
Congratulations to the Mount Greylock Student-Athletes and Coaches for a successful fall season and good luck in the exciting events still to come!

The Drury/Mount Greylock Cooperative Football Team was a success.  Drury Administration and Coaching Staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the season, even hosting a game here at Mount Greylock and wearing Mountie Red and Greylock G’s to support our student-athletes.  . There were six Mount Greylock students that have travelled to Drury for the season. The team finished the regular season 5-3 and just missed a playoff spot.  The Football Team will travel to play Pittsfield this Thursday 11/7 at BCC at 6pm.  Their final game will be next week, specific date/time/opponent still to be announced.

The Golf Team finished their regular season 9-6 which qualified them for the Western Mass Tournament. Students Alexander Axt, Cayden Conry, Ben Prescott, Owen Petropulos, Paul Roeder and Brayden Smith travelled to Pittsfield Country Club for the Western Mass Championship placing 7th.  Nicole Overbaugh participated in the Women’s Western Mass Golf Championship in Springfield and placed 10th.

The Unified Basketball Team is currently 3-1 with two games and the final jamboree left to play.  They will play in a three way match up this Thursday night at Wahconah and will finish the season with a jamboree at Chicopee Comp on November 21st. We have 23 students on the team this year and if you have not attended a game, please put it on your schedule! Check out the video on WilliNet!

The Cross Country Running Teams continue to be strong. The Girls Team earned another Berkshire County North victory while the Boys Team placed 3rd at the County Race in late October.  Both teams head to the Western Mass Championship this Saturday, November 9th at Northfield Mountain. If the team places in the top three or an individual in the top ten, runners will continue to the MIAA State Championship at Gardner Country Club on November 16th

The Volleyball Team has gone on a strong run winning two tournament contests already.  After finishing the regular season 13-6, the team received a #5 seed  in the Western Mass Tournament.  They earned a 3-0 against the #12 Sabis team in the first round and another 3-0 win over a very tough Ware (#13) team last night in the quarter-finals.  They continue on their run and play Wednesday (11/6) night at 6:30pm against (and at) Lee High School.

The Girls Soccer Team finished their regular season 12-4-2 earning a 6th seed in the MIAA Tournament. They placed second in Berkshire North, their highest rank in recent years. As you heard Coach Ostheimer announce this morning, the girls begin their tournament run tonight (11/5) at 6pm vs. Frontier here at Mount Greylock.

The Boys Soccer Team went undefeated in Berkshire County North (8-0) and finished their tough regular season schedule 13-2-1 earning the #1 Seed in Western Mass. The team received a bye for the first round and will host the Quarter-Finals on Thursday 11/7 vs. Easthampton at 6pm here at Mount Greylock.
