DESE Commissioner Jeffrey Riley and Department of Public Health Commissioner Monica Bharel have shared a joint letter about vaping, marijuana, and opioids. The letter includes information and resources to assist schools and families in partnering to prevent vaping, marijuana, and opioid use. As conveyed previously, it is imperative that schools partner with families to both educate students and prevent vaping and the use of marijuana and opioids. Mount Greylock will continue to address these substances in Health classes for grades 7-10; we are looking to bring in an informed, engaging speaker as well. But we implore you to help us by speaking with your children about the health dangers of these substances.
