Project 351 is a nonprofit organization that develops a new generation of community-first service leaders through the yearlong engagement of an eighth grade Ambassador from each of the 351 cities and towns in Massachusetts. Youth are selected by hometown educators for an exemplary ethic of service and the values of kindness, compassion, humility, and gratitude. Founded in 2011, Project 351 has engaged 3,753 unsung heroes and quiet leaders as change agents in their community. Together, these remarkable eighth graders have impacted more than975,000 neighbors through transformational service.
In the selection process they say – More than ever, we believe in the urgent need for leaders of courage and compassion from every background and every walk of life; and in the power of service to unite and uplift communities. The last decade of Ambassador leadership affirms that our faith is well-placed -- eighth grade unsung heroes are remarkable agents of change. In fact, the Class of 2021 will achieve an exciting milestone: one million neighbors positively impacted through service since 2011.
MG’s 2021 Ambassadors are Charlotte Holubar, Mia Filiault, Katherine Goss, and Noah Klompus.
