Posted 06/18/2020 09:49AM
Dear parents, youth leaders, youth workers, and mental health providers,

nbCC in partnership with the Spiffy Coalition (Hampshire County) and Communities That Care coalition (Franklin County) invite you to join a free webinar on Thursday, June 25 at 4PM, Little Treatments, Big Effects. Profession of Psychology Jessica Schleider of Stony Brook University will share her promising research on brief interventions for depression and anxiety in youth. Please join us. You may pre-register or join at this link

In western Massachusetts, and nationwide, there have been increasing levels of depression and anxiety in young people. Evidence shows therapy can be helpful, but it is not always available. Dr. Schleider’s research examines how single session interventions, that can be provided in a non-clinical setting, show promise for helping young people who are struggling with depression and anxiety. Learn more about her work at www.schleiderlab.org.

Please contact us with any questions.
