Thanks to strategic thinking last year, particularly from Finn Welch, the Peer Team redesigned its application process to be digital and hopefully both more thoughtful and efficient. During this year’s Program of Study meetings with Mrs. Casalinova and Mrs. Maselli, members James Hetherington, Eva Myers, Laura Dupuis and Erin O’Keefe, shared perspectives about the Peer Team’s role and challenges. Below is a letter to the sophomores and juniors from Peer Team advisor Mrs. Leitt about applying digitally this year. Please note – applications are due on Friday, March 27.
Dear Juniors and Sophomores,
I wanted to reach out to all sophomores and juniors to relay some information about the Peer Team Application Process. We are planning to keep the deadline as March 27th. With regard to the teacher recommendation form, we realize this may be difficult as we are currently not in school, however we do value this part of the process. We encourage you to reach out to teachers, as many may be happy and available to complete this for you. If you are unable to reach the teacher you would like, please list their name on the application so that the team can reach out to them when reviewing applications.
