During the first two days of class in September, CS50 students participate in Puzzle Day. These puzzles have "nothing" to do with knowledge of computer science but rather they provide a good way to have students think outside the box by being collaborative with their peers and sometimes their families. There is another version that is released in the spring and this year it is entirely online. Mr. Price is sharing this news with his current AP Computer Science Principles students and wanted to share it more broadly.
Here is an update from Professor Malan on CS50x Puzzle Day 2020:
"As you may know, CS50x Puzzle Day is our annual, online version of our own event here in Cambridge. This year's CS50x Puzzle Day will still take place Fri 4/3 – Mon 4/6, but we've messaged to participants that it will be online-only this year. Per the official announcement:
CS50x Puzzle Day 2020 Online shall be online-only this year. Team members should NOT gather in person, unless they already live together. All team members should instead collaborate online via chat, voice, or video. Doctors' orders!
