Students in high school classes in the core disciplines of math, science, social studies and world language will take mid-term assessments on January 19 and 20. Students who have more than one course in a core discipline will have the opportunity to schedule their additional assessment during a separate testing time.
Thursday, January 19
Math 7:40 a.m. – 9:10 a.m.
Science 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Friday, January 20
Social Studies 7:40 a.m. – 9:10 a.m.
World Language 9:30a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Middle school students enrolled in high school math courses (Algebra, Geometry and Algebra II) and world language courses (Latin and Spanish) will also be taking mid-term assessments during the testing periods above. Students will participate in regular middle school programming during the rest of each day.
Study space will be available in the library for students who do not have an assessment in a specific core discipline; however, as with final exams, students only need to be in attendance to take their assessments. For example, a student with a math exam but no science exam would be able to depart from school at 9:10 a.m. on Thursday, presuming the student has independent transportation.
Room assignments for assessments will be posted by Wednesday, January 18.
Please note, this schedule will also be used for semester-long courses with final exams.
